Orapiu is the largest settlement at the eastern end of Waiheke Island, known by the locals as the 'far end'. It has a landing place and is the start of the Waiheke wharf to wharf fun run. Sometimes ferries to Pakatoa Island call in here to drop off and pick up passengers from the wharf which some people love to fish from.
