Oneroa, which is just a 15 minute walk from Matiatia, is also the first stop for the buses from Matiatia Bay has banks, several restaurants, cafes and fast food outlets, so there is no need to go hungry. There are souvenir shops and most of the Islands Real Estate offices just in case you fall in love with Waiheke and decide to stay!
