Wow, what a place Waiheke Island is! I moved here permanently in 2001 – all the way from the middle of Remuera and never have I regretted the move.

Every day as I drive around and see the gorgeous beaches, the budding vineyards, the amazing sunrises and sunsets plus the landscape of the place, I reckon I’m a very lucky guy! The fishing is fabulous (well, most of the time), golf course cool (well, most of the time), there are wonderful walks, fun bars, interesting and colourful people, a great market and of course fabulous cafes and vineyards.

A superb place for wedding guests from around the world to really enjoy – and for the bride and groom to carry treasured memories forever!

Having now photographed over 200 weddings on Waiheke Island, I have experienced just about everything one could imagine! I am well-known for being able to relax the happy couple – and wedding party. I am not intrusive, but know when to click to get that variety of informal and formal shots. Plus, to have a few laughs along the way as your wedding day must be a fun day. My job is ‘to capture the mood of the day’ for you, your family, friends and future generations.

Obviously I will share all my Waiheke experience with you, along with taking you to the most suitable spots for memorable wedding photos on your wedding day for your outdoor photographs.

Venues for the weddings I have photographed include Mudbrick, The Dunes, Stonyridge, Stefano’s, Te Toki, Harbourmasters, Tangaroa, Waikopou, The Estate, Nourish, Saratoga, Delamore Lodge, The Boatshed and Palm Beach Hall. Plus, a number of private homes and on the beach at Little Oneroa, Onetangi, Palm Beach, Oneroa and Enclosure Bay. At all these places I do know my way around and know where to do the family shots, the group shot, the table shots and whatever else shots – oh, and of course, the actual ceremony.
