Nestled on the side of a sunny, sheltered valley Punga Lodge looks out over native bush and bird life. Each room and self contained unit has a private deck, most overlooking the valley that runs down to the sea at Little Oneroa Beach, 150 metres from the Lodge, with a beautiful white sand swimming beach. Punga Lodge has a range of accommodation. In the main building are en suite rooms with own bathrooms, TV, tea/coffee making and private decks. Lodge guests enjoy a comprehensive continental breakfast buffet on the main deck or in the downstairs dining room. Guests looking for a private hideaway can choose a garden en suite room with private entrance, private deck, super king bed, fridge, TV, tea/coffee making with breakfast served to their private decks or buffet style with other guests. For longer stays and families, there are adjacent fully serviced chalets, a large apartment or a cottage. Each unit is fully self contained and has its own sunny deck with gas barbecue. Guests can self cater, order breakfasts to their units or join other guests in the dining room or on the breakfast deck. Punga Lodge is renowned for its hospitality and home cooking with freshly made muffins part of the continental breakfasts and complimentary homemade afternoon teas served on the main deck each day. And adding to the homely atmosphere are two resident cats Tiger and Cookie and a little schnoodle dog (cross between a toy poodle and a miniature schnauser) called Spud. |

Especially for longer stays, Punga Lodge has four self contained units overlooking native bush and close to beaches, restaurants and shops. Each has cooking facilities including a gas barbecue on private outside decks. There are three choices for guests:
Extra adults from NZ$25 per person, extra children from NZ$10 per person. Minimum two night booking on weekends for most accommodation. Longer stays over peak holiday times. Off season and midweek rates available outside peak season. |

Garden Bed and Breakfast rooms, semi detached from the main building with private entrance, private deck, en suite bathroom, superking bed, TV, fridge and tea / coffee facilities. Especially suitable for honeymooners or people wanting their own private space. Lodge rooms, double or twin, NZ$145 per night for two including continental breakfast buffet and homemade afternoon teas. Garden rooms, double or twin, NZ$165 per night for two including continental breakfast (buffet style or served to your private deck) and homemade afternoon teas. As a conference venue, Punga Lodge provides an ideal meeting place with a fully equipped conference room, with a large private deck, overlooking native bush. It caters for groups of up to 12 people with morning and afternoon teas and homemade two or three course lunches served on the main Lodge deck or dining room. The conference room is equipped with wireless internet, in built white board and display board, electronic whiteboard, OHP, TV, DVD, video, separate phone line and flip chart.
