Bay View Cottage is uniquely sited in this beautiful wooded bay and has its own road access yet it is just a few safe metres from the beach via the nature reserve walkway.

The breathtaking views, surrounding bush and sheltered north facing position make this the ideal spot to get away and relax. Go to sleep in tranquil silence or with the sound of waves on the beach.
Bay View Cottage is a two bedroom A-frame style pole-house with high ceilings and a balcony running full length. The spectacular views are to the North over bush to the beach a few metres away, vineyards and Oneroa bay in the mid-distance  and the Hauraki Gulf with Coromandel and the Barrier in the distance.

  • Second bedroom has two singles and a small extra bed.

  • Sited in a private 1700sq metre beautiful grassy section with Pohutukawa, Manuka, Punga and plum trees.

 Transport: The bus-stop is directly outside the property, 10 mins from Matiatia.

Walk to Oneroa in 15 mins or the store at Little Oneroa in 5 mins. If you bring your car there is off street parking.

Activities: Hekerua Bay is full of nature walks through the reserve and the beach provides safe, sheltered swimming. Nearby are Oneroa and Palm Beaches and all that Waiheke has to offer.

Spring & Autumn: 1 Oct - 23 Dec & 1 Mar - 30 Apr: $180/night
Summer: 24 Dec - 28 Feb: $220/night

There is a one-off linen and service fee of NZ$35 for stays of less than 3 nights.
Minimum Stay over Sumer: 5-7 days depending on availability and dates.
